Haikus I should use:

Down with TV.
After a long day I got home around 9pm and Kristen and I watched some TV (sex and the city). It was very entertaining, but it almost makes it irrelivant to be together. After watching an episode (another was coming on) I decided to get away from TV and pull kristen with me (with some resistance). I was successful and we got to hang out for an hour before going to sleep.
The way I figure it, TV probably does cause harm to families. Time spent watching TV together is far from spending time together. No connection is felt other then the common experience of seeing something.
TV is also very attractive. Something is always happening and happening quickly. Look away from TV and you are suddenly faced with the desire to look back, since nothing is happening around you.
Probably the least appealing thing about TV for me is that there are no intresting stories. I am continually scanning channels for anything even remotely intresting. Part of watching TV seems to be the experience of digging for anything good among a sea of crap.
I think there is a big difference for watching a video (vhs, dvd, whatever). The story pulls you in, not the flash and the possibility that you might have found something good in the sea of crap. There is something much more satisfying about it.

I need food at home. The empty refrigerator is a sad sight. Kristen has
taken to bagels in the morning, which are OK, but I like eggs. I should
think of other things to eat in the morning instead of eggs and toast.
What do people eat for breakfast? Not really into cereal, maybe grits
would be good. Bacon and sausage are too much. Well, maybe sausage
would be good.
I have filled up my phone with images for this blog, but my usb
bluetooth devise is in a box and I can't get to it until I unpack :( Oh
well, some time next week (hopefully) I will post up about 10 images on
this blog.

So I went to the med center today (they have a cafeteria that is close to work) to pick up coffee. The coolest thing happened, someone bought me coffee. I was helpful to her and told her where milk was. I had cinimenon(sp) in my coffee and she liked the smell, and I told her about using cinimon (again sp) in coffee insted of sugar. Well, she must have liked my casual friendlyness towards strangers, and when I was at the register, she had the cashier give me my money back and paid for me. Very cool! I thanked her and when I was walking away, I heard her say to her friend, "He was such a sweet man." :)

packing packing packing
The entertainment center has been put into boxes. Now we have to move!
We have picked couches and furniture. Unfortunately they don't get
delivered till February. Thats ok, I think sitting is over rated.
