Sunday - Indian Food, Tapeing, Movies

Went to Mogal for indian food for lunch. I think I am bored of indian food. It isn't that I don't like it, but it just doesn't seem that intresting anymore.

I started writing a book on wikibooks on cinematography. I am basing it off of the book "5 C's of cinematography".

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cinematography

I figure that writing a book on something is an excellent way of learning it. You try hard to get it right, and in doing so, you really learn the material. Next semester, I am going to be taking a negations course, and I think I will try to write a book on that as well.

After eating and writing, I went over to home depot and picked up some painters tape and some stuff to patch the hole in the pantry drywall (the hole was used for a dryer exhaust). Kristen patched up the hole, and I did some taping in the spare room. Then we watched some of eXistanZ. Excellent movie. Lots of reality bending story line and a weird sexual undertone. I definitely recommend for anyone that likes odd movies. It was directed by David Cronenberg who mad many other odd movies questioning reality. I think I should see some other ones he has made.

Anyway, if you want to know more about the movie:

After that we watched some southpark. The makers of southpark fed bacon and sausage to pigs during the introduction. They are some weird guys. The first show was about the planetarium and some guy trying to control the minds of the children with weird visuals. The other one was about the kids building a tree house to play truth or dare with some girls. Both were OK, but I don't think they were that funny.

I also started to download some episodes of red dwarf last night. I really like that show. I need to get my external HD out so I can use it to store some episodes. Right now my laptop is full of about 4 Gigs of seinfeld, and I have only about 1.5 gigs left.

Next weekend (after thanksgiving) I have to write a paper and a presentation for class.

Dreams and story ideas

Doctor in a phsychatric institute. Someone is trying to kill him that is a patient but he doesn't know who. When everyone is in the rec room he puts an ax in a room and everyone can see him do this (he is doing it publicly to try to bring out the killer). The killer doesn't do anything till later, he gets the ax and confronts the doctor in the hall way.

3 options:
* The killer kills the doctor
* The doctor grabs a trash can lid to fight the killer
* Does some crazy matrix bounce of the wall kick in the head move

Another dream that kristen had,
Beefy was lying on the ground and she rolled him over, to expose his belly which was made of ground beef.

Ags B-day and Wandering around NYC

Kristen and I went up to NYC on saturday. We wandered around in the rain. It was dark and beautiful. We toured around the village, and bought some stuff:

* Tea at a little asian shop that bags many different teas. It was cool and rustic
* Kristen picked up some rocks at a rock shop.

We wandered around aimlessly, and circled around many times. We went to an indian place to eat that was recommend by the rock shop lady (butch girl with dyed blond hair). After which we wandered around looking for a coffee shop to sit down and waste some time at. After circling around for a couple hours, we settled for the pink polka dot. It was a cute little place and we had some hot chocolate. After that we went up town to do karaoke at a bar with Agatha and friends (it was agatha's birthday).

It was lots of fun and I really like karaoke. I did Mony Mony, Shout, and Love shack with all of the girls. I think Amy had some fun with me and we probably will do some more karaoke sometime together.

I couldn't figure out what he would be thinking in this picture, perhaps nothing :)

Feel free to post a comment as to what you think he is thinking.

I need to write jordon!

Watched matrix last night. Great movie. I think it was way more enjoyable the first time around when you didn't know where things were headed.

Had a crazy dream where I was preparing to climb up the cliff face of a cove. After stopping at a little wooden shack that rented out the climbing equipment I headed down to the water. It was a beautiful blue and it was cold and refreshing. The cove was a deep lake that was surrounded by huge cliffs, and at the end was an opening out into the ocean. I was supposed to climb into the water and swim to the area where you climb up. When I got in the water I looked down and an orca swam up to me with is mouth open and I could see his teeth. Everyone in the group including me was scared that it was about to attack, but it stopped and I petted its head and it was happy. It stuck out its tounge and I petted that too and it was all smooth and slippery. Then a porpous came up and I petted it too. It was a pretty happy dream.

Well, it looks like 11 days was too much time for a long shot. Kerry has surrendered and Bush will continue on.

An intresting break down of exit poll results are here:

We went to Lowes and picked up many things. Kristen had a 10% coupon, so we picked up a stove, refrigerator, hanging light, paint and the rest of the stuff on the shopping list.

Lowes is much better then the home depot. The staff is more friendly and helpful, and the place is much cleaner (this could of course be the individual stores).

We were going to paint, but didn't really have the time.

Kristen's family came to the new house and we ate lots of food. It was Kerry's birthday!
Kerry and played some bass. I can't wait till the office is set up so I have a place to play.

Also, it was halloween, and I dispensed lots of candy to kids this year.

Andy's car broke down and dropped it off. He thinks it has something to do with his fuel pump, and his dad is going to come work on it this week.

Andy and I played some bass. He is pretty good, hopefully I can learn some from him.
